The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Darth Bader

The Vital Forest Fan Interview: Darth Bader

Q - How long have you been following Forest and do you remember your first game?

A - About 20 years, my first game was a 2-1 win against Everton, goals by Pearce and Collymore.

Q - What are your most memorable moments as a Forest fan? Good and Bad.

A - Best was finishing third straight after promotion. Worst Playoff against Yeovil.

Q - Since you have been following Forest, what would your best starting eleven be and who is your all time favourite player?

A - Crossley, Jara, Pearce, Dawson, Walker, Stone, Keane, Clough, Roy, Collymore, PVH. Fav has to be Collymore, unique talent.

Q - What is your best and worst moment of the 2012/13 season?

A - Best was getting new owners, Worst appointment of Mcliesh.

Q - In your opinion, how have the new owners performed since taking over the club last July?

A - Overall I'm very pleased, there was a lot for them to do in a short amount of time, mistakes have been made but nothing is ever perfect.

Q - Best and worst away ground visited?

A - Best Villa Park, Worst St Andrews.

Q - Who is your Nottingham Forest player of the season?

A - Halford, wasn't that impressed when we signed him, but he's better than I thought.

Q- Which player(s) would you like to see Forest sign this summer (realistically)?

A - Jara, Briggs, Dawson, Bolasie, Sako, Guedetti

Q - All seater stadia. Good thing, or a bad thing?

A - Good for safety, but I actually preferred the times I have stood.

Q - What are your thoughts on how the team performed last season and how did it compare with your expectations?

A - It was okay, I wasn't sure what to expect really, a real disappointment was the lack of forwards goals.

Q - What are your expectations for next season in the Championship/Where will we finish?

A - Promotion, top 2.

Q- Much has been said about the wealth of our new owners. Do you think they will spend their way to promotion, or adopt a more frugal approach in trying to achieve it?

A - I think they will spend if the right player is available, depends on Billy's targets.

Q - Name a former Forest player you were most disappointed to see sign for another club?

A - Collymore, 3 days after getting a new away shirt with Collymore on the back.

Q - What's your opinion on Billy Davies and will he bring success to the club?

A - He's better than what we had, but still have questions about the playoff defeats last time around.

Q - In your opinion, was it the right or wrong decision to sack Sean O'Driscoll?

A - For me it was right, not the right man for where we are aiming.

Q - New stadium, or renovate the City Ground?

A - Renovate, it's where we belong.

Q - If you could put one question or make one request to Mr.Fawaz Al-Hasawi, what would it be?

A - Always remember why you wanted to buy us.

Q - Where do you sit/stand at the City Ground?

A - Brian Clough lower.

Q - Name the celebrity you would most like to meet.

A - Azita Ghanizada.
