The Psycho Effect.

With Stuart Pearce returning to take the helm at Forest on July 1st, Vital Forest thought it would be a good idea to get the view of Forest Fan (Bash9), one who was too young to see him play the game.

We all remember the fist pumping site of Psycho charging around the City Ground pitch and the nerves of steel, when he scored the penalty against Spain, but here are Bash9's views:-

When I knew that Forest had appointed Stuart Pearce, I was really excited and in my opinion he is one of the best appointments Forest could have made!

For one, Psycho is a club legend and the fans will get right behind him from the off, whatever the first few scores or results are.

People I know have said that it's not very good that he's only starting in July but I think that's the right decision because it gives him a fresh start and time t plan for the new season.

In my opinion, Psycho will lead Forest to promotion next season and even if it will be a slow start, I think the fans and Fawaz will back him.

I've not really seen Mr. Pearce play (apart from on youtube) but from what I've seen and heard he was, if not the best, one of the best left backs in his time.

I'm really glad Stuart has come to Forest because he will give players that have came through the academy a chance and he's had good experience in previous management and football with Manchester City, the England under 21's and playing for The Reds.

I really hope that Pearce does well at the club because he's a Forest legend and if he doesn't do well I don't want anything to undermine that! Thanks for reading, Bash9.


Nottingham Forest need someone to galvanise the club, it needs to be re-built on and off the field - but the foundations are there.

I really do hope that Bash9's prediction comes true.
