'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vaughan Agrees Personal Terms.

Nottingham Forest's home fans clearly appreciated the return of David Vaughan, who was influential in the 1-0 home win against Birmingham on Saturday.

Amid chants of 'sign him up, sign him up', the 31 year old midfielder on loan from Sunderland, was cheered as he was withdrawn after completing 54 minutes of his first team comeback.

Although his loan spell at Forest has been blighted by injury, Vaughan himself admits it has been the worse such spell of his career, he is clearly an experienced, quality addition to Stuart Pearce's squad for next season.

So, news that he had agreed personal terms ahead of a permanent 2 year deal at Nottingham Forest, commencing 1st July is welcome good news.
