Reidy Recognised By His Peers

Nottingham Forest's club captain has deservedly earned the respect and recognition from his fellow Championship players by being named in the PFA Team Of The Year.

Despite playing just 70% of this season's Championship games, Reid has proved influential whilst playing, but probably more so in his absence as Forest's playoffs hopes failed.

Reid has played 36 games this season (32 in the Championship), with 15 assists (12 in the Championship) and 10 goals (9 in the Championship).

The 'Team of the Season' was announced at the annual PFA Awards Dinner on Sunday evening, alongside former Red Wes Morgan, with the full team listed:-

Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City)
Kieran Trippier (Burnley)
Wes Morgan (Leicester City)
Jason Shackell (Burnley)
Aaron Cresswell (Ipswich Town)
Danny Drinkwater (Leicester City)
Craig Bryson (Derby County)
Will Hughes (Derby County)
Andy Reid (Nottingham Forest)
Ross McCormack (Leeds United)
Danny Ings (Burnley)

Well done Andy, let's hope you can recover fully and return to see if you can go one better next season.
