Ward, What's Not To Like?

Ward, What's Not To Like?

Jamie Ward, does he divide opinion? Do too many, perhaps unfairly, have negative thoughts towards the Nottingham Forest, formerly Sheffield United and of course ex-Derby, forward?

Old Red Fart doesn't feel there's much not to like about Ward, loaned out to Burton earlier in the season before returning to help Forest secure Championship survival.

They said: 'Not seeing the games I'm in no position to take a 100% view of any player but have noticed for months that Ward seems to be quite unpopular with what seems like a majority of you.

'I've never quite understood it since to me he's always seemed like the sort of player who's a pain in the anus to the other side. By that I mean that he seems to rub up opponents fairly quickly and I reckon that always helps. And now and then he scores. And he mostly seems to give 100%. Doesn't seem too bad to me.

'And I've just noticed on the Ipswich game that he's polling 48% on MoM.

'What's not to like about him?'

A seasoned professional, what do you think of Northern Ireland international Ward? Is that previous at Derby clouding the judgment of some?
