'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Commons To Renew Contract Talks

Although the club has apparently made an offer to the midfielder, he is understandably biding his time and will wait to see where Forest end up come the end of the season. It is believed that both Birmingham City and Crystal Palace are keeping an eye on the situation.

Commons told the Nottingham Evening Post, 'Hopefully my representatives will be meeting up with Mark Arthur and Nigel Doughty in the next couple of weeks to get something sorted,' he said.

'I don't know how long it's going to take. Hopefully, we can get it done and dusted before I'm relaxing on a beach somewhere.

'Hopefully things will be sorted soon, but promotion is the main aim.

'I'm hitting good form at the moment and my main focus is on getting us promoted. The fewer distractions I've got off the field, the better I will play.'

Commons insists he is unaware of any interest from other clubs.

'My agent keeps me up to date, but his main aim is to get something sorted at Forest,' he added.

Opinions are divided on the message boards about KC. Some will argue he is the clubs' most influential player, others will argue he is a lazy so and so. What's your opinion? Join in the debate.

He's influential when he wants to be, he can be massive on his dad. His work rate isn't an issue in my eyes, he's just a bit inconsistent.
Juán
I hope he stays put. His set pieces and creativity would be sorely missed.
Johnny Kipper
"he can be massive on his dad" classic typo! Agree with what you say though Juan. I think we all know he will not sign if we remain in league one next season though.

My bad, happens to everyone though right? Think Prutts will stay?
Juán
Prutts will only stay if we get promoted. If we fail, then he's off.
