'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Get 'In The Zone'

CC has told his players they have to focus on the Play-Offs and forget the slim chance of automatic.

The Reds must ignore the fact that victory against Crewe on Saturday knowing that may well earn them a place in the Championship, if Bristol City fail to beat Rotherham.

'It will be similar to the build up to a play-off game now, so we will have that for one week - or maybe three,' said Calderwood.

'You never know what will happen this weekend, but we have ensured that Bristol City have to earn promotion.

'We will be fairly normal, if we change radically we change what has ended up winning us games. The excitement of what might happen will keep them focused.

'We have to be professional from now until 5pm on Saturday, we just need our minds right in that period to give ourselves the best possible chance of getting the result against Crewe.

'And whatever happens at Bristol will happen. But it will be a very interesting start to the game next week. If Rotherham can get a goal ahead early on, as they did at our place, it will be revved up.

'It will be interesting to see how the afternoon transpires. Wouldn't it be nice if it was an exciting afternoon, if it was euphoric?'
