Kerslake Confident

David Kerslake is confident the Reds players will need no lifting for the first leg of the play-off's semi-final against Yeovil at Huish Park on Friday.

The Reds resumed training yesterday, three days after their hopes of clinching automatic promotion were dashed once and for all.

First team coach Kerslake admits the mood in the Forest camp after Saturday's goalless draw with Crewe was one of dejection but knows the atmosphere will improve as Friday's game draws ever closer.

Speaking to the official site he commented: 'It's fair to say we were flat after Saturday's game and personally I was really flat on Sunday.'

'But I've been involved in play-off campaigns before and they tend to reignite the whole season again.

'We'll train all the way through to Friday and I'm sure the excitement will be there by the time the game comes around.'

They should not need any lifting at all given the importance of this game. If they dont show up on Friday they can all ***** off as far as im concerned!
