Bumper Programme For Yeovil Game

Tommorow night there is a special programme for the second leg against Yeovil, with an Interview with John Robertson.

John Robertson, one of the true legends of Nottingham Forest's history, has revealed the emotions of winning promotion in his glittering career at The City Ground.

The former Scottish international was a leading figure in Forest's promotion to the old First Division 30 years ago this month.

And in Friday night's bumper 84 page programme for the Yeovil play-off game, Robertson rekindles those magical memories.

Says Robertson: 'They were incredible days and obviously we still talk about them now. Winning promotion was one thing but to make an impact in the First Division was a different proposition altogether.'

Robertson is just one of a host of big names who will be featured in the special souvenir publication, which costs £4 and will be available at all the usual outlets.

If you can't make it to The City Ground on Friday to buy your special souvenir programme then preorder it online at:

Do many people actually buy programmes anymore? I think they are pointless to be honest, unless you are a collector of course.

I buy them out of habit, primarily so I don't have to watch Sherwood's goalkeeping against 8-year-olds at half time.

Gosh! Presumably they'll have DOUBLE the adverts and pointless drivel. I sometimes flick through a friend's programme, the most useful feature of them is to laugh at the Capital One adverts that feature the staff.
