'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rumour Mill Starts

As per usual the tabloid press love to put 2 + 2 together. I know some fans who would love this to be true!

News of the World has a headline :

'Psycho heads for the Forest. Stuart Pearce is set to make a sensational return to management at Nottingham Forest. The former Manchester city boss has been lined up to replace Colin Calderwood, who faces the axe after failing to win promotion. Fans called for the former player-boss 'Psycho' on Friday as Forest crashed out of the League One play-off semis to Yeovil'.

The usual News of the World tripe I see. Pearce, whilst having the forest connection, hasn't made a massive success of his first management opportunity. Keep Colin.
