Brave Forest Hold on

Nottingham Forest hung on to grab a point at Brentford following a controversial reffereeing display from Mike Russell. Brentford should have had at least two players sent off by the letter of the law, yet it was Julian Bennett who saw red for Forest follwoing two dubious Yellows.

Paul Gerrard made some outstanding saves and Wes Morgan a goal line clearance to hang onto a point after Commons deflected free kick (5) had been levelled through DJ Campbell at the second attempt(34). Bennett was dismissed on 36 and Forest who had started brightly dug in to claim a more than deserved point.
