'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Latest From The City Ground

After Fridays' hyperactivity at the City Ground with the double swoop on Yeovil to keep the message boards rolling over the weekend, news today is a little thin on the ground.

The only thing of note from the official site today, is news of how hard the boys are training on their pre seson jolly up in Austria. It gives us the stuff we really want to hear, such as news of 7am runs in the woods and training up to four times a day. It's a hard life.

According to the Nottingham Evening Post Grant Holt and Colin Calderwood have sorted out their differences and Grant now says, he is happy to stay at the club after earlier handing in a transfer request. Calderwood said less than emphatically, 'He's not a player we want to see leave.'

Do you have an opinion on the Holt, Calderwood debate? Should he stay, or should he go? Join in the debate on the forum.

Good to hear - Holt as a striker may not be to every one's tastes, but I think he offers something different to Agogo&Tyson.

Better the devil you know, the strikers we have at the club are fine IMO. We should not be selling anyone we do not need to.
