Tyson - Will Not Be Ready In Time

Last week Forest announced that both Nathan Tyson and Junior Agogo would return to full training. This probably led fans to believe that they would be fit and ready for the start of the new campaign. That may be the case with Agogo, but for Tyson he is still a way off from full recovery.

Tyson missed the final six games of the season and was sorely missed during the run in. He damaged knee ligaments for the second time in the season, to end an injury ravaged campaign.

Colin Calderwood told the Official site. 'Nathan is recovering OK. He sees a specialist next week, but the reality is that it will be a considerable time before we are considering him or think he's available for the first team.'

Although his injury was the same as that caused in the first game of last season against Bradford City, the club says the two are not connected. Despite being missing for large parts of the last campaign, Tyson still bagged 9 goals for the Reds.

Not really a surprise but still very frustrating for us and him. We surely need another stiker now as I am not happy with either KC or Davies playing as emergency strikers.
