Tyson And Cohen - Home Alone

Tyson And Cohen - Home Alone

New signing Chris Cohen and striker Nathan Tyson have been left at home during the clubs pre season tour of Scotland.

The Reds begin the first of three games in Scotland, taking on Kilmarnock at Rugby Park tonight.

Cohen had a groin operation shortly before signing for Forest in June and is still recovering. Tyson is also in recovery, after damaging knee ligaments for the second time last season.

Colin Calderwood told the official site. 'Nathan is weeks away from playing - Chris is further down the line. With the games we've got in Scotland, our training will not be as conducive as it will be at the City Ground, where they can join in with the reserves.'

So it looks very much as though Forest will begin the new season without two of the players the fans are pinning their hopes on. Although there has been one piece of good news this week, with the expected return of striker Junior Agogo.
