Return Of the Clingan

Nottingham Forest and Northern Ireland international midfielder Sammy Clingan has been named in the side for tonight's game against Scottish Premier side, Kilmarnock.

Clingan has not played a competitive game since breaking his ankle in the 5-1 win against Huddersfield Town back in March.

The player was expected to make his return in a friendly for Northern Ireland against Everton a fortnight ago, but he missed out. But Forest boss Calderwood is ready to pick him from the start in tonight's game.

Forest have also revealed that club captain Ian Breckin will make his first appearance of the season, after recovering from a tight hamstring.

Forest have named a strong team for the game that kicks off at Rugby Park, 7.30pm.

Team:
Smith, Perch, Chambers, Breckin, Lockwood, Davies, Lennon, Clingan, Commons, Holt, Dobie.

Hopefully he will allow Forest to retain the ball a little better in the next few games. Still early days after such a long injury mind.
