Forest Draw 0-0 With The Steelmen

The final game of the Scottish pre season tour, saw the Reds draw 0-0 with Motherwell at Fir Park.

According to the official site it was an entertaining game, but despite some decent football Forest failed to find the net. Manager Colin Calderwood gave a game to 17 members of his squad, with Smith, Lennon, Clingan and McGugan playing the full 90.

Davies and Perch went off with knocks, so there will be an anxious wait to find out how they are, but once again Junior Agogo failed to make the squad. It was hoped that he would play some part in this game, but the club obviously decided it wasn't worth the risk. Hopefully this is no more than Calderwood being cautious with the striker as at the moment only Dobie and Holt are fit.

Forest now travel home to prepare for three more games, that sees them take on Notts at Meadow Lane on Monday night and Derby in the inaugural Brian Clough Trophy game on Tuesday night. The final game of the Reds preparations for the new season, sees them at Bramall Lane to take on Sheffield United next Saturday.

The injury list is worrying me a little bit and with Agogo still not taking part another striker is a necessity.
