Forest Get Out Of Jail At Liberty

Thanks mainly to keeper Paul Smith, Forest somehow come away from this game at Swansea City with a valuable away point.

The BBC Radio Nottingham commentary made it sound like one way traffic in the first half as Swansea dictated and dominated the game. A Sammy Clingan shot from 25 yards was all Forest had to show for 45 minutes in which it was real backs against the wall stuff that saw Paul Smith pull off some great saves to keep the Swans at bay.

This is the third game for the Reds in seven days that has seen them fail to score, but Calderwood will get some comfort from the fact they they have so far not conceded any either. We may be solid at the back, but it is a concern that we are creating so few goalscoring chances. Calderwood told Colin Fray on Radio Nottingham, 'On one hand it's pleasing that we haven't conceded any, but today we didn't have the chances to justify scoring. There was some good defending and we had to concentrate and be organised at the back.'

The positives from the game will be few, but Junior Agogo completed 90 mins, which will go along way to helping him back to fitness and young Matt Thornhill made an impressive debut. Kelvin Wilson sounded as though he had an impressive game at the back and Neil Lennon once again held things together with his experience and calm head.

Next week sees us at home for another tough game, as Leeds Utd roll into town. We have to score sometime, don't we?
