Calderwood - Positive As Usual

Forest manager Colin Calderwood was his normal upbeat and positive self after earning a point at Swansea City on Saturday.

Despite the side failing to score again, he was realistic and honest in saying that the side had to take their chances. He is coming in for criticism from some quarters for not being attacking enough in his approach to games, but in his defence he has not exactly had a lot to choose from in the way of forwards.

After the Swansea game he told the official site . 'On the one side we can look at it and think it was very pleasing, on the other side we have got to improve. We will score, undoubtedly, but we have got to take the chance, the half chance. We didn't have so many today that we justified scoring.'

He has to take the positives out of this game, even though they were out played in the first half. He was rightly pleased with Agogo getting 90 mins and at keeping another clean sheet, thanks to the heroics of keeper Paul Smith. Some fans are getting uneasy with the lack of goals, but he should not be criticised too heavily with the limited attacking options open to him. Patience is needed, particularly with another tough game next weekend against Leeds United at home.
