Lennon - We Need To Be Hard

Forest captain and all round tough guy Neil Lennon has warned his team mates that they need to stop conceding late goals. The Reds lost out on a glamour tie at Premiership Aston Villa in the 2nd round of the Carling Cup on Tuesday night with two sickening goals in the last three minutes.

It was a game Forest had dominated and didn't look like losing, but Lennon told the official site . 'We've got to start seeing games through. I'd like to see us with a real hard mentality, especially at home. The crowd get behind us and it's no secret that we've turned in our best performances at home without getting the results.'

Lennon is convinced it was a lack of concentration that cost them not only against Leicester but also against Leeds where they also went down with a late sucker punch.

Lennon was replaced by James Perch in Tuesday's game, but only through fatigue. He's expected to be fit for the visit of Gillingham on Saturday.
