Calderwood Wants The Three Points

It's good to hear that the misery of the playoff defeat against Yeovil back in May hasn't been forgotten by Calderwood or the lads. It certainly hasn't been forgotten by the fans.

As we all know and it still hurts to write, we were 2-0 up after the first leg and in a manner that only that particular Forest squad could do, threw it away and lost 5-4 on aggregate. All water under the bridge now (well almost), as Forest are showing the first signs of recovery and improvement.

Calderwood admits that winning on Saturday won't erase the memory of that night, but will be a step in the right direction. He told Forest World .'There is a bit of history from last season. Winning there won't right the wrongs of that night, but it will add an extra incentive and it'll be pleasing to win the game.'

He went on to say that neither he or the lads needed reminding of that night. Glad to hear that because most fans still wake up having nightmares to this day! A win would certainly boost the confidence that must already be in good shape after last weeks 4-0 mauling of the Gills. Revenge would be sweet, but maybe CC is right in saying that three points would be better.
