Tyson - Goals Will Come

It's three games since Nathan Tyson hit the back of the net in such emphatic style against Leicester in the Carling Cup, but the striker isn't concerned and says the goals will come.

Three games is of little concern really, but what is a little more worrying is his apparent loss of form. In his defence, he has been played out of position in a wide role. This has proved to be fruitful for the team as a whole, but not necessarily for Tyson himself. Some fans have even gone as far to say that he is looking to move away from the City Ground, citing this as a reason for his dip in form.

Tyson though told Forest World , 'I'm not too bothered. On Saturday I didn't play well, but on Tuesday I worked hard and wasn't getting the ball. I felt I was doing everyone else's running. It may be something to do with my being out so long, but it's a confidence thing and I always pitch myself to score goals. The goals will come.'

That goes a long way to confirm what many fans have said on the message boards in that he is playing out of position and he may not be entirely happy with the situation. The problem for Calderwood is that playing three up front has reaped it's rewards, but not brought the best out of his star man.

In 6 appearances this season (2 as sub) he's scored 1 goal. Not exactly a drought by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe food for thought.
