Calderwood - Ready For Battle

Colin Calderwood has tipped Doncaster Rovers as one of the main contenders in this years League 1 title race and can't wait to do battle with Sean O'Driscoll and his men on Saturday.

The Forest boss was in upbeat mood and why shouldn't he with 5 wins out of the last 6 games. He told the official site . 'At the start of the season you would have said they would be up there and similar to us they seem to be running into form. It will be a titanic struggle and one that if we win would make me very happy on Saturday.'

Calderwood went on to say that Rovers were one of the best footballing sides in League 1 and would pose a different thjreat to that of Cheltenham last week. Rovers form though so far has been indifferent and fans are beginning to turn on manager O'Driscoll.

Last week he was given the dreaded vote of confidence by their Chairman. On hearing the news O'Driscoll apparently said, 'I don't care,it means nothing'. A recent poll on Vital Doncaster said 81% wanted him sacking now.
