The Swans can go top tonight if they beat Gillingham at home. They're currently in 2nd spot behind Carlisle who have the game of the week in League 1, as they entertain Lucky Leeds United at home. Surely this is the week the wheels fall off for Wise and his pretenders. Another win for them and I may have to revise the Lucky Leeds tag. For now, it stays. Come on Carlisle!
The City Ground welcomes Tranny Rovers, who will endure 90 mins of the 'You've nicked my stereo' chant from the crowd. Rovers sit in 3rd, two points ahead of us and will arrive in town full of confidence after last weeks 3-0 win over Hudds. Sarfend in 5th are away to a resurgent Cobblers side, who have won their last two games.
Former high flyers and now dropping like a stone Yeovil, have an awkward game away at Crewe, who seem to be finding out how to win after a poor start. Former leaders Orient have Oldham at home. They need the win just to stay in the top six. Their form has been indifferent lately.
Down at the bottom, basement boys Bournemouth run the risk of being cut adrift if they lose away to Brizzle Rovers. The tractor boys need the points themselves. After getting off to a flyer, they now sit only 1 point above the drop zone. Cheltenham in 23rd have a tough one away to Walsall and Port Vale are away to Hudds.
Not sure how things will pan out this weekend. I have a feeling in my bones that says the news could be bad for us Tricky's. That means defeat at home for us, a win for Lucky Leeds and a thoroughly miserable Sunday reading the obituaries, sorry Match Reports.
