Holt To Have Op At Last
The club have announced the long awaited news that striker Grant Holt is to undergo surgery on Tuesday.
Holt has been carrying the injury since the end of the last campaign, but due to the fact that the strike force at the club is so thin on the ground, he's been playing through the pain barrier.
The player has been a shadow of his former self in recent games and has been struggling. The injury which started out as a groin strain was clearly having an effect on his mobility. Hopefully this will get him sorted and back to his goal scoring ways. Grant is expected to be out for two weeks.
