A Great Weekend For Forest

It's been a good weekend for all things Tricky. The Mighty Reds put in a rousing performance at the City Ground to give the fans something that's been missing for a long time. Hope. The Sheep took another beating on live TV and Lucky Leeds United take a 1-0 beating at lowly Cheltenham.

Yep, it's been a good weekend all round as Forest climb to 2nd in the table after trouncing Crewe 2-0. Add to that the fact that both Reds' goals were debut goals for messers Davies and Clingan and you have to wonder if things are beginning to click into place.

Orient maintain their assault on the title, thanks to a 4th minute goal from Adam Boyd. Carlisle let the lead slip away from them twice, as they were held to a 2-2 draw away at Brighton. The Cumbrians slipped to 3rd. Swansea looked to be heading for a draw at Tranmere, until Stephen Jennings scored an own goal to send the Swans home with all 3 points. They're up to 4th now, on 28 points.

Luton did us a massive favour by beating Southend 1-0 at home to keep up their impressive home record. It takes them off the bottom, after the 10 point deduction for going into administration. Southend go down to 8th. Donny leap into the top 6 after winning away at Port Vale 3-1. The defeat sends Vale to the bottom of the pile. The Gills climbed out of the drop zone thanks to a 2-1 win at home to the monkey hangers of Hartlepool.

And finally onto Lucky Leeds United. They lost again. This time at the hands of good old Cheltenham Town. The 1-0 defeat sees them drop down to 5th. They're 4 points behind us and we have a game in hand over them into the bargain. It's nice to see a bit of daylight between us and long may it continue.

Looks you're more concerned about other results in the division! I suppose that's understandable when you can't rely on the ability of your own team to get you promoted. MOT!
