Calderwood Praises Team Spirit

Forest boss Colin Calderwood called for 'an angry' response after the midweek defeat to Walsall and got exactly that with a 2-0 win away at Brighton, thanks to a brace from Nathan Tyson.

Calderwood told the official site. 'It was a really positive response to our defeat against Walsall in the week. We deserved the win and the spirit in the dressing room is fantastic. It's hard to pick out one of our players, as a pack they were fantastic and when we went down to 10 men they were magnificent.'

The result takes Forest up to second place in the table, but that's before the rest of the games in League 1 take place so it's likely to change. Nonetheless, it will be seen as a vital win and a boost ahead of the FA Cup game with Luton on Tuesday night.
