Despite having their game with Brizzle Rovers called off, Swansea remain in poll position after this weekend's games. They sit just a point ahead of us and level with second placed Orient.
The O's picked up an easy 2-0 home win against Cheltenham. Adam Boyd was once again on the score sheet with the opener and Melligan made the points safe with his second half strike.
The Cobblers did the Reds a big favour by grabbing a last minute equaliser at home to Carlisle, to earn a valuable point in a 2-2 draw. Forest are ahead of the Cumbrians on goal difference.
Lucky Leeds made amends for their slip up against Cheltenham, with a not so lucky 4-0 thumping of Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield. That man Beckford helped himself to a brace. Lucky Leeds are just a point behind us, but we do have a game in hand over them.
Southend in sixth spot got a last minute winner against Swindon to grab all three points in a 2-1 win. They had been a goal behind, but a first half equaliser from Adam Bennett and the last minute winner from Mark Gower bagged the points for Sarfend.
Down at the bottom it was all change as Port Vale climbed off the bottom with a 2-1 away win at lowly Gillingham. It was their first win in six games. Bournemouth slid back to the bottom after a 3-1 defeat to Tranmere. Luton and Millwall was another game to fall victim to the weather, due to a water logged pitch.
Not a bad weekend all things considered. The Reds' 2-0 victory at Brighton on Friday should put them in a good mood for the FA Cup game at Luton on Tuesday, with a home tie against the Reds of Liverpool as the prize.
