'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cohen Is Loving It

In an interview with the official site, Cohen says that the decision to leave West Ham two years ago was the hardest he has ever had to make.

Ask any Hammer who's seen him play and they will all say the lad is destined for the top. It was a bold move on the part of Cohen to swap the big time surroundings of Upton Park, for the green fields and less glamorous surroundings of Huish Park. It paid off for him though, as Forest paid close on £750,000 to secure the signature of the 20 year old.

Although he is yet to open his goalscoring account on Trentside, he scored six for Yeovil last season and was an ever present in the side. Since his arrival at the City Ground the way Forest now play is partly down to the way Cohen plays the game. The hoof it style synonymous with the past couple of years has largely disappeared (not entirely though)and replaced with the tippy tappy stuff we all know and love. Cohen is a player who can not only pass the ball, but he can take on defenders as well.

Cohen is grateful for his time at Yeovil and is respectful of what they did for him. It's a credit to him that before our last League game against the Glovers he said that if he scored, then he wouldn't celebrate.

He believes he made the right move in coming to the CG and says West Ham and Forest are similar clubs in the way that they are run. We might have to agree to disagree on that one Chris, but we're certainly glad you came.
