Commons - Dealing With Transfer Talk

In his latest diary entry for icons.com, Commons says that the squad is better prepared for promotion this time and that they have learned some harsh lessons after the bitter disappointment of last season.

He said. 'We can be pretty confident going into the New Year. It would have been ideal to have been promoted last year, but we fell away. We're determined not to let that happen again...Nobody who went through that wants that feeling again.'

He does his best in the article to deflect attention away from the constant transfer speculation that surrounds him, without actually saying he will stay. 'There have been rumours linking me with various clubs. I'm used to that now as it's been happening since I joined Forest. The transfer window is a slightly strange time because of all the speculation and rumours that fly about. It is all a little unsettling but it's just part of the game.'
