'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Men In Black: Leyton Orient

Mr. Iain Williamson from Berkshire gets the gig at the City Ground today, for the game against Orient .

The omens are not particularly good with this one, as the last time he took charge of a game involving the Reds, it was the 4-0 home drubbing handed out by Scunthorpe last season. The good news is he can't possibly be as bad as Mr. Anthony Taylor, the last referee to visit the home of football.

So far this season he's taken charge of 8 games where he's handed out 35 yellow cards and 1 red. Last season in 35 games he dished out 138 yellow cards and 9 red. He clearly likes the paper work.

He will be ably assisted on the lines by Mr. J. Waugh and Mr. R. J. Wigglesworth. The 4th official is Mr. D. H. Coote.

I thought he was quite good today, compared with the tripe we usually get anyway.

he was the best ref we've had all season - equally harsh on decisions against both sides.
