Dobie's Off To Carlisle

Despite the current striker shortage at the club, it's probably not too harsh to say that Scott Dobie still wouldn't get in the side. His Forest career has been blighted by injury and has never really taken off.

Those of us that have criticised Dobie during his time here, should perhaps realise that he did fantastically well to ever get back on a football pitch after his back injury. Many people said he would never play again. Some would say he never did. That said, prior to his move to the City Ground he was a proven goalscorer.

The Cumbrians have even agreed to pay us a fee, albeit a nominal one. All this though is subject to him passing a medical, so it's fingers crossed. The move will surely be the best thing for the player and Forest alike and hopefully we will put in a clause that says he can't play against us in the game next month.
