Agogo 1- 0 Namibia

Forest striker Junior Agogo raised his personal profile in his 2nd game of the ACON tournament in Accra tonight. He scored the winning goal that sees Ghana lead Group A and give them a great chance of going through to the next stage.

Ghana only need a draw against Morocco to get into the last 8 of the tournament on Monday.

Namibia were expected to be the whipping boys in this game, but they defended manfully and gave Ghana one or two scares.

The goal from Agogo came in the 41st min and settled the nerves of the host nation. It was a simple goal that he nearly missed from inside the 6 yard box, but that won't bother the Reds hotshot who will be the cause of dancing in the streets of Accra this evening.
