Forest Reject Bids For Commons

Forest Reject Bids For Commons

One of the prize assets at Forest are the talents of Kris Commons and not surprisingly he's been the subject of much speculation in the national media, regarding a move away from the City Ground.

Sky Sports.com reports that firm offers have been made for him by Wolves and Leicester. QPR are also thought to be interested as well. Some sources are saying that bids of £500,000 have been made, but Forest have rejected them and are on record as saying they will not be selling any of the players.

Commons signed a one year deal in the summer which makes him out of contract at the end of this season. The player himself has said he wants to see out that contract and help the side into the Championship. It will be a blow to any promotion attempt if he is sold, as suitable replacements are not exactly knocking down the door to sign.
