Forest Reserves Win Again

Forest Reserves Win Again

Despite going a goal behind, the youngsters showed great character and team spirit (where have I heard that one before?) by fighting back and going on to win the game 3-2.

The Shrews took the lead early in the second half, but 3 goals in 13 mins, sealed the points for the Stiffs.

Emile Sinclair bagged a brace to continue his good run of form and new kid on the block, Garath McLeary got his first goal on his debut, with a great volley to put the Reds 2-1 in front.

Although the home side got a late goal, the lads held on for the points and made it their 7th straight win. They remain top of the Pontins Holiday League.

Good result, which should help to add healthy competition for places for 1st team, also sounded like Bastians did well with 2 assists, for both of Sinclair's goals!
