Well said Kev, although I don't agree with a return for Frank Clark, but in saying that, I couldn't name an alternative.

Where in that interview does he admit that he has made mistakes? He talks about difficulties but I think you're jumping the gun a bit there.

Almost exactly as I see it. His heart is in the right place but he's made mistakes. We are all allowed to make them.

Onwards and upwards

“The challenge is bigger than I envisaged when we purchased the Club last summer."

That's an admission that mistakes wee made and that they underestimated the job they took on in my book.

On the money Kev. Well written and sums up where we all are right now.
If Fawaz has learned something its money can get some place but it don't mean you have the smarts overnight.
Re-appointing FC would be handy. but he has to do it himself (Fawaz that is.) and take his 'experts' and tell them to button it. Right now Forest is a train wreck, we can get out of this I have no doubt. BUT its not an overnight sensation.....

Our club is an investment: Time, Money and People, players and supporters alike.

ONE IN, ALL IN.

Reappoint FC...to do what exactly? Was not impressed with his last tenure here and see no point in him being here this time.

As for Mark Arthur...now I count myself as an easy going lad...but he deserves no more than to melt into obscurity and disappear from the world of football forever for what he has done to this club, what amazes me is that before Fawaz had the courage to dump him EVERYBODY wanted just that as well...now it's happened we are getting 'oh poor MA'

This is Forest and we have been rotting for years, major changes have to be made and there is and will be pain during the rebuild but we are rotten from the core and its so sad to see Fawaz is trying to root out whatever is wrong with the club...but everyone wants it to be painless...a click of the fingers and we will be in and winning the prem....well get real people...the world does not work like that...take the medicine...and gradually we will get better!

Oh...and by the way...the medicine will work...given time and patience.

Rarely do I disagree with you Kev but in the last two statements from Fawaz I see nothing to indicate he has learned from mistakes

The statement last Friday described a perfect owner/manager relationship (in his eyes)

Where he said he has not interfered with player decisions for 15 years and described meeting with the manager twice a day

His last statement just says the job is tougher than he expected

Maybe he will have to meet with the manager 3 times a day from now on !!!

I think Fawaz has no intention of letting a manager get on with the job - the next appointment will answer that question though

He has a unique opportunity to show he has learnt from his mistakes by appointing Billy who we know will not allow Fawaz to interfere

If fawaz did interfere billy would tell the media one way or another within 48 hrs max

The appointment would win vast majority of fans back as well

If Fawaz appoints almost anybody else other than Billy I expect its to allow Fawaz perhaps even more control of player affairs

I don't think Fawaz like the fact AMC kept saying no to his player suggestions

We appoint someone like JFH and to me it means there is nobdoy at all left at club to say no to Fawaz

If its not Billy I think the Fawaz circus is well and truly still open for business

Plus an FC type with integrity would help but again I don't think Fawaz will even think he has done anything wrong so it won't happen

No way would FC throw himself back into this mess IMO

He doesn't need the money or stress

Wolf that's 3 separate posts you're having a pop at Fawaz before 8am, Keep it up mate your crusade is almost complete!
Like your scattergun approach though but the more you push the more people will resist.

Ron: wolfie's life is not complete without a pop at Fawaz. He needs to change the record because it is repetitive, boring and we have heard more than enough and get that he opposes everything about the owners.

Bremen/Ron

which bit of my post do you disgree with ?

Attack my posts - pull them apart - tell me which bit is wrong - no problem at all with that

Contribute to the thread and discussion rather than just having a pop at me

Its actually laughable Ron that in the JFH thread you agree with my sentiment but than have a pop at me for contributing something yuou are concerned about yourself

If someone says that fawaz has learnt from his mistakes but I disagree then I will post that as above

Contribute to the thread with something - add to the debate guys

i wont slag either of you off if I have a different opinion to you

I agree with the sentiments expressed in the article but I would be very surprised if either FC was asked back or a meaningful change in approach takes place.
I was fully behind the owners until Boxing Day and thought that it was essential for AMcL to stay for the rest of this season and next, even though I was underwhelmed with the appointment. We need what I thought we had at first - a plan to build the club at all levels with consistency on and off the pitch.

Whatever else, the evidence clearly indicates that we don't have this essential ingredient for sustained success - and this series of car crashes coincides with Fawaz taking the wheel. If he has learnt from his
mistakes, all well and good but the jury for me is not only out but very close to returning a guilty verdict.

Oh, and Ron, I think describing Wolf's posts as a crusade is both wrong as he's entitled to his views, and not very sensitive in the light of history
