A mozza we have forest at home. Looking uhs be a big crowd, no tickets on sale at the gate. They've had a good transfer window a be fair, a be honest, fair plate uh them. Should be a cracker going down drinks first.

I'd lay off the drinks for a while John. You know, if I were you.

Google translate gave up on this.

This must be drinks and weed.

After that goal though, we started faffing around and did our best give them an equaliser, after we dominated the game.

All good in the end but on too many occasions Forest opened up our defense too easily.

Betts (nickname for their keeper) MotM for me, them saves at 1-0 won us the game.

Betts for me called on 3 times with the one on one dodgy back pass then the amazing double save at the end. Any of them had gone in and we would have found it difficult to break then down.

Earlier in the season Forest would have soaked up the pressure by being well organised and got a draw or even pinched a win.

Betts because w/o him we draw, at best.

Bettinelli for me - without him we wouldn't have won.  I was tempted though to nominate as a close second  the Forest keeper for the pig's ear he made of Piazon's shot.

Betts for me partly because of the long moments of inactivity followed by fantastic saves.

Truth is, Forest offered little but defended well.

Betts MOTM. Kept us in the game at the time with his double saves.
Can´t ask for much more from the lads. 2-0, clean sheet, 3 points from a good Forest side.

Another win and another three points. Tough game against a hard working Forest side, thanks to Betts for some great saves and to their keeper for the cock up. We looked well in control but were so poor in the final third in the first half.

Forest fans not impressed with our support today! Several derogatory comments in their matchday thread:

"Regarding the atmosphere, it did amuse me the futile efforts the guy over the tannoy made threatening 4000 people with arrest only to be greeted with we’re Nottingham Forest we do what we want.

Fulham fans don’t deserve their team they are totally hopeless."

We so what we want...as long as we don't want to score.

Not tit for tattle but I thought they were a@@@@st the less vocal big supports we've seen at the Cottage in recent years. Loud when roused but never heard a peep out of them for large portions of the second half.

I thought the Forest support was excellent today - however, when we upped our game the whole stadium resounded - both the Riverside & JH Stands join in. However - feel I have to add 'it all went quiet over there!'

Great determination against a tough nut today.

Result a true reflection of the game.

Good well deserved win.

While we had more possession, chances and putting pressure on Forest throughout the 90mins, they had some really good chances. Betts did a double saves and they hit the inside post. All their chances were great chances and any other day, at least one of them would have gone in.

First half forest done nothing apart from One on one with keeper second half we applied more pressure they just launched long balls into box and tried to hit us on the break. Betts pulled-of double save but ref should have blown up for free kick prior to this typical ref poor !!, allowed forest to time waste as the game went on thought we wore them down hence the late goal we seem to lmprove as game goes on probably passing game tires out teams fully deserved the points!!!

Were Forest a good team?? Definitely!
Were we a bit lucky?? Absolutely!
Did we play well?? Absolutely!
Did we deserve the win?? Absolutely!

Fulham were lucky that Forest gifted them two goals.

Otherwise it was a respectable 0:0 away from home.

1st half Forest contained Fulham comfortably. It was 0:0 and I didn't feel Fulham would score. Forest were starting to dominate and Fulham made a sub that turned the tide just as Forest were turning the screws. Forest starting to lose it on the left side with a few Fulham attacks. Then pants, who had seemed assured and what Forest had needed for so long makes a "continental " save.

As Geddy went off Forest seemed to lose that shape or robustness.

Forest had enough chances to go ahead or draw the game.

For about 65 minutes it was a promising performance. Not bad for two days training with the new players.

SA.

There is usually a theme of if we lose we are good, if we win we are shit.

That aside most opposition fans really rated us under MW as a really good footballing side, unlike some on here...

Lot of sides we played this season specifically said that we were a very poor side under Warburton.

Can't fault any of those comments, they seem to be honest enough and a fair opinion of how the game was played.

We seemed to be organised in defence for a change, and the midfield had more bite in the middle of the park, but very powder puff up front, we need to play with two strikers if we are wanting to score goals.

Looking forward to the next game, as long as we get the three points.

There was no filtering lol what is it about forums that turns rational people into fookwits. If I filtered the comments from today would have reflected my opinions.

And yes, we were regularly admired for our attacking passing football. It's clearly you who filters.
