Would be an excellent signing. Makes missing out on Dawson even the more frustrating as we would have had one helluva back four

Garrido would be a definite upgrade on Fox.
Get Dawson in the summer and the defence starts to have a much more solid look about it.

Been reported for about a week, apparently he is close to signing next week with Watson.

A leftback signing and a DCM in the same week?

Are the planets aligning?

Aye Karanka.

All excellent SA but we also need a centre half and a striker.
Rome wasn't built in a day, I know but our weak points still need addressing.

Aye, true that. Desperately both. Obviously needed.

Maybe keeping our powder dry for the Summer?

But if Karanka can get in a LB and DCM...after the window is shut...

...can he work any magic to get a temp free CH and Striker....until the Summer?

Though if Murphy is fit...I wonder if he will serve as a battering ram to scrap Forest some wins with a stronger Midfield behind him?

...option of Velios or Brereton behind him..? To get the knockdowns?

It's all hands on deck. Need to fight for points now.

SA.

It's telling that Karanka is scrambling for a LB and going all out for depth in the cm/DCM position.

Forest keep conceding from that side. Noticeably vs Villa and Fulham. Cruelly exploited.

I felt that with wave after wave of attacks down the left side Forest were starting to lose it. I pulled up on the driveway at home just for beeping Fulham to score. This was after Forest had started to turn the screw but Fulham brought on a Striker and the game went the other way. Then lost shape when Geddy went off. Ergo need depth in that area re watson and Bridcutt.

I wish to note that Fulham were pushing and coming from the left due to Fox being exposed and on his own with dowell not be seen. Fox had to deal with a yound winger (wasnt easy to muster) and also their full back was coming up and down that side. To note also that their first goal was more to do with Panta then Fox, in a carbon copy action in the first half, but from Forest and with Cash and Brereton leading the charge , their keeper saved a much more difficult shot on goal. To note also that their second goal came from a Worall mistake and on the right hand side...at the time Lichaj was almost at the edge of the Fulham box...just for clarification purposes...

I would say that Fox was as much at fault for the goal as Pantilimon. He backed off far too much and gave him a massive amount of space to hit the shot. The quicker we get a solid replacement for Fox, the sooner we'll become a more solid unit.
