Forest will be hoping for a massive improvement on the woeful performance at Watford on Tuesday nght, that brought an end to our mini revival. The 2-1 defeat, left us just 2 points above the drop zone and another loss at the weekend could see us joining the rest at the basement.
The Clarets are having a rare old time of it and have reached the semis of the Carling Cup this season and presently occupy 6th place in the table. They came from 2 goals behind in midweek to beat Palace 4-2 at home, to cement their place in the Playoffs.
The new signing of Spurs defender Chris Gunter will help to shore up our leaky defence, but we could be hampered with yet more injuries in the back line. Although Burnley are sounding bullish before the game, we do tend to play better when up against the stronger teams in the division. Let's hope, this is one of those days.

The former Trickie was one that got away from us, back in 2001. He made 11 impressive appearances for us on loan and should have been signed. He's only hit 6 goals this term, but the ageing striker is more than capable of getting the better of our hapless defence.
As usual, we have a host of injuries to contend with. Kelvin Wilson (ankle), Joel Lynch (ankle) and Ian Breckin (hip) could all miss this one, which is pretty much our entire backline. Not much for a 19 year old debutant to worry about then.
14 goals so far this campaign, shows that he's still a threat. We need his goals, if we're to stay in the Championship.
Defender Graham Alexander got both goals in an undeserved 2-1 win at the City Ground earlier this season, so the lads will be out to make amends for that. The history books show Forest have won 33, lost 32 and drawn 24 of our previous meetings.
More in hope than judgement. 3-1 to the Reds'!
