Forest v The Foxes Match Pre-View

The Foxes will be making their way to the City Ground this weekend in the hope of ending a winless run in the league in Nottingham stretching back almost 40 years. Nigel Pearsons men though have had a flying start to the Championship season & sit in 3rd place after being promoted from League One last season at the first time of asking.

Vital Quotes:

It's hard to keep yourself grounded, but we really should.

Nottingham Forest Team News:

Nathan Tyson should return to the squad this week after a month out & Chris Cohen will be available after serving a one game ban. That leaves us with just long term injury victim Julian Bennett missing from the squad. Forest are now as strong as they could ever really hope to be with this squad of players.

Player to watch: Robbie Earnshaw

Has bounced back in to 1st team action with 2 goals in 2 games and will be looking to hit one of his famous scoring runs to keep him in the team.

Leicester City Team News:

Skipper Matt Oakley may return to the starting line up after making the bench in the Foxes 1 - 1 away draw with Scunthorpe but otherwise (like Forest) are pretty much at full strength.

Player to watch: Matt Fryatt

His 9 goals in 18 games this season make him one of the most dangerous strikers in the league although he has only scored in 1 of the last 10 games (a brace that won the game away at QPR)

Match Facts & Stats

In 88 league games between these two teams Leicester have the slight edge with 35 wins compared to Forest's 33 (20 draws). Forest do have the edge on goals though in previous fixtures with 137 of the 265 goals scored.

Ref Watch:

Mike Russell of Hertfordshire will take charge of this fixture & will be assisted by Mark Astley (Manchester) and Steve Cook (Derbyshire) Fourth Official Rob Merchant (Staffordshire)

Match Prediction:

Forest 2 - 1 Leicester. The Foxes don't score many & hopefully after bagging 4 against Doncaster, confidence will be high amongst the Forest strike force.
