The City Ground
28/12/2009
15:00
After the first half of the season has left us fighting it out at the top end of the table, the arrival of Coventry at the City Ground will certainly be a stern test but the home crowd will certainly be expectant after witnessing 12 goals in the last three home game & 4 consecutive clean sheets in the last 4 home & away fixtures.
Win at home, draw away, get promoted, simple!
Blackstock & Earnshaw could well return to the starting line up as could Majewski. Wes Morgan will most likely miss out again though after suffering from tonsillitis.
Forest's top scorer hasn't got on the score sheet since his hat trick against Leicester so will want to get himself back on a scoring run.
Central defender Ben Turner is currently suffering from an ankle injury & Midfielder Isaac Osbourne is expected back any time now afte a bruised knee.
The one time Forest target is the current Sky Blues top scorer with 9 goals & will certainly be a handful.
There have been 80 league games between these two team with Forest having a massive lead on results with 40 compared to just 14 for Coventry (27 draws). There have been 172 goals in previous fixtures with Forest scoring 121 of them.
coventry have won their last three while Forest are unbeaten in 15.
Mark Clattenburg will take charge of this game, his assistants will be John Flynn of Wiltshire and Ceri Richards of Carmarthenshire. Fourth Official Andy Penn (W. Midlands)
Forest are in fine form, most certainly at home & although Coventry wont simply roll over i can see another comfortable home win, 2 - 0 to the Reds & a 5th clean sheet
