Bradford are attempting to plot a course to promotion under former England coach Peter Taylor, he has added 9 players to his squad over the summer, the star signing seems to be defender Robbie Threlfall who has arrived from Liverpool, he spent some time on loan at Bradford last season & has made the move permanent.
The striker top scored for Bradford last season with 13 goals from 39 appearances & also added a further 3 assists.
Forest are without several first team players for this fixture. Chris Gunter & Rob Earnshaw are both away with Wales, while Raddi Majewski is also on International duty while Brendan Moloney is also away with Ireland. Ryan Bertrand can't play due to the conditions of his loan spell. As if missing those 4 wouldn't be enough, David McGoldrick is ruled out for a few months, Dexter Blackstock received a cut to the head in the Burnley game & may be rested & Kelvin Wilson was withdrawn from Saturdays game at half time. We could see the likes of Robbie Gibbons, Kieron Freeman, Matt Thornhill, Niall Rodney given a run out in this game.
After spending most of the weekends game on the bench, he will be wanting to prove to manager Billy Davies that he is worth a starting place.
Forest played Bradford at the same stage of this competition last season at the City Ground with the reds running out 3 - 0 winners thanks to goals from Paul Anderson, Dexter Blackstock & Lewis McGugan.
Eddie Ilderton of Tyne & Wear will take charge of this fixture, he took control of 35 games last season, issuing 88 yellow cards & 5 red He will be assisted by Robert Atkin of Lincolnshire & Gary Hilton of Lancashire Forth official for the day will be Nick Greenhalgh of Lancashire
