Forest welcome League 1 new boys and fellow promotion hopefuls Carlisle United to The City Ground on Saturday. The Reds' will be looking to avenge the 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Oldham on Tuesday, with an improved performance against last years League 2 Champions. It is nearly 30 years since the sides last met at The City Ground in the old Div 2, when The Reds' ran out 5-1 victors. Later in the season the sides drew 1-1 at Brunton Park.
