Billy Davies has no new injury problems but summer signing Djamel Abdoun may still be unfit to start.
The play maker has featured in all three games this season so far, scoring one & assisting another in the league cup. He scored 5 and assisted three last season too from 34 appearances (11 as sub)
Bolton have no new injury worries but have recently added to their ranks with Jay Spearing making a permanent move to the Reebok from Liverpool.
The now infamous one time Forest target has netted in both of the Eagles opening two fixtures of the season, helping them to 1 - 1 draws in both games. He also managed 2 goals & 4 assists last season from 35 appearances (9 as sub).
Should he start, Chris Eagles could also be one to keep an eye on, the winger topped Bolton's scoring charts last season with twelve from 47 league & cup appearances (4 as sub) but also weighed in with a further 12 assists making him by far their most dangerous player last term.
Bolton are still searching for their first win of the season after drawing both of their opening fixtures & losing to Shrewsbury in the League cup, in contrast to this Forest have started their campaign with three successive wins.
Both games last season ended in score draws with a 2 - 2 draw at the Reebok featuring a stunning strike apiece from McGugan & Reid while the City Ground fixture & Billy Davies first game back in charge ended 1 - 1 courtesy of another great Andy Reid strike & saw Bolton reduced to 10 men when Marcos Alonso was dismissed for a second bookable offence.
There have been 72 previous league encounters between these two teams with Bolton having the better of things having won 29 of those, Forest 23 with a further 20 draws (including both of last seasons games.
There have been 209 goals in those 72 fixtures, with Forest being 1 goal shy of nothing up their 100th league goal against The Trotters.
Mark Haywood of West Yorkshire takes control of this Championship fixture. He refereed 2 Forest games last season have overseen our 1 - 0 away win over Peterborough & the 2 - 2 home draw with Crystal Palace. He also refereed 2 Bolton Wanderers games in which they too won one & drew one. In total last season Mr Haywood took charge of 39 fixtures, brandishing 4 red cards, 108 yellows & awarding 14 penalties. He will be assisted on the lines by Robert Ellis & Edward Smart with Mark Howes acting as 4th official.
