Mark Warburton's Forest make the short trip along the A52 to take on Gary Rowett's Derby at Pride Park.

Vital Quotes:

Forest Manager, Mark Warburton, gave his views at Friday`s Press Conference:

'All derbies are different and they mean so much to the various supporters. There is no love lost between the two sides and you have to respect it, let the supporters understand that you know what it means to them and then hopefully we can deliver a quality performance.

'We`ve had the same problems as them at times and I am sure some of their performances have been very good and haven't yielded the points they wanted or deserved, but they some very good individual talents within their squad. We have analysed them, we know what their threats are, so that we know what we have to do and we have looked at where we can hurt them.'

Derby County Team News:

Bradley Johnson sits this one out as he serves a 1 match ban for collecting 5 bookings.

Other than Mason Bennett & Darren Bent - the Rams have fully fit squad for Gary Rowett to chose from.

Player to watch: Matej Vydra

The 25 year old, Czech Striker loves playing against Forest - he has scored 8 goals against the Reds in 7 appearances.

He is top scorer for the Rams this season, with 5 in 9 appearances - so, he is definitely a player that Forest's defence need to keep quiet.

Nottingham Forest Team News:

Chris Cohen remains a long term injury absentee, but Jamie Ward could be involved in today's squad, which would behis first appearance of the season. David Vaughan and Matty Cash both played for the u23s on Friday, so are unlikely to feature.

Matt Mills is available after serving a 1 match ban for collecting 5 yellows.

Player to watch: Ben Osborn

Forest's diminutive 23 year old midfielder, who was born in Derby, will make his 150th appearance for the Reds this afternoon.

Ben has just 1 goal in 14 appearances this season and just 11 goals in his career so far - the most memorable will be the winner at Pride Park in January 2015, the last time Forest won there - let's hope he repeats that!

Match Facts & Stats

Forest ended a 3 match losing sequence, by beating Sheffield United in their last game.

The reds are 13th in the table, with 15 points from 11 games (w5, d0, L6), scoring 15, but conceding 19.

Derby have 13 points from 10 games, occupying 17th position in the table (w3, d4, l3) scoring and conceding 13 in the process.

The Rams are looking for their first league win in 5 games, with 3 consecutive draws prior to the international break.

Ref Watch:

Today`s Referee is Andrew Madley, his 12th game in charge this season - the previous 11 have yielded 23 yellows and no red cards. Last season he officiated 43 games, with a return of 146 yellows and 8 red cards.

Mr Madley will be assisted by Mark Russell and Lee Venamore, with Tim Robinson as Fourth Official.

Match Prediction:

Derby are odds on favourites for a home win, with Forest yet to win in front of Sky's Cameras this season.

The Rams have never lost to Forest on a Sunday & the Reds have just 1 win in their last 6 appearances at Pride Park.

Looking the stats, a draw would appear a decent result, something Forest have yet to manage this season.

Next Fixtures:

Forest welcome Burton Albion to The City Ground on Saturday, 21st October, 2017 (3-00pm KO).
