Cheltenham Town vs. Nottingham Forest

Whaddon Road

October 13, 2007

1pm

Next Up: Cheltenham

Forest take on a Cheltenham side that picked up their first win in five games on Tuesday night, with a 3-1 win in the JPT against Swindon. The Robins will be desperate for the points, having won only two games so far this campaign. They sit fourth from bottom on 9 points and with a goal difference of -8.

The Reds though are in good form having lost only once against Leeds at home back in August. Four wins and a draw sees them going into this game high on confidence and with all due respect to Cheltenham, will expect to pick up all three points. That's easier said than done though.

Cheltenham are at present without a manager since John Ward left for Carlisle and are led by caretaker boss Keith Downing. He did his job prospects no harm at all in the mid week win over Swindon. He has made two additions to the squad in former Red Alan Wright, who joined on a weekly contract basis and defender Dean Sinclair on loan from Charlton. KO for this game is 1pm!

It should be 3 points but Cheltenham are a physical side and we will have to be up for the battle.
