Forest take on a Cheltenham side that picked up their first win in five games on Tuesday night, with a 3-1 win in the JPT against Swindon. The Robins will be desperate for the points, having won only two games so far this campaign. They sit fourth from bottom on 9 points and with a goal difference of -8.
The Reds though are in good form having lost only once against Leeds at home back in August. Four wins and a draw sees them going into this game high on confidence and with all due respect to Cheltenham, will expect to pick up all three points. That's easier said than done though.
Cheltenham are at present without a manager since John Ward left for Carlisle and are led by caretaker boss Keith Downing. He did his job prospects no harm at all in the mid week win over Swindon. He has made two additions to the squad in former Red Alan Wright, who joined on a weekly contract basis and defender Dean Sinclair on loan from Charlton. KO for this game is 1pm!
The Robins are expected to be without John Finnigan, who has a knee injury and both Jerry Hill and Andy Lindegaard who are suspended.
Jennison is on loan from Bristol City and got his first goal in 5 appearances for the club against Swindon on Tuesday.
Lockwood and Davies will be absent again due to their long term injuries. Ian Breckin, although now fit is expected to resume his role on the bench. The good news for Forest is the availability of Clingan and Agogo, who were expected to miss the game due to international call ups. Agogo's game with Ghana was cancelled and Clingan was given special leave to join up with the N. Ireland squad a day later than planned.
Junior has found a rich vein of form and has bagged 5 goals in 3 games for the Reds.
The sides have only met twice before. Both times in the League, both times last season and both ended with Forest victories. 3-0 at home and 2-0 away.
3-1 to the good guys.
Doncaster Rovers (H). October 20, 3pm.
