Nottingham Forest vs. Doncaster Rovers

City Ground

October 20, 2007

3pm

Next Up: Doncaster Rovers

Bring your ear plugs, it's Kids For A Quid. Forest welcome Doncaster Rovers to the City Ground, looking to avenge the two 1-0 defeats they inflicted on us last year. So far this term they have only won once away from home, in the 2-1 victory at Swansea.

Forest go into the game with 5 wins out of the last 6. Sitting nicely in 4th place, we are only a point off the pace setters Swansea with a game in hand. Rovers will arrive buoyed by the impressive 2-0 home win over Huddersfield last week, but are inconsistent at present. Currently in 13th place and with 14 points, they have yet to show the form they are capable of. Come the end of the season though, they should be amongst the chasing pack.

Vital Quotes:

Nottingham Forest Team News:

The Reds biggest worry is Wes Morgan who picked up a knee injury in the 3-0 win at Cheltenham. They will give him, along with Chambers and Wilson as long as possible to recover from knocks picked up in the game. Breckin will be ready to fill the boots of Wes and Perch can fill in for either of the other two. All will hope to make the game.

Player to watch: Chris Cohen

Commons and Agogo have been picking up the plaudits with their goal exploits, but without the fine form of Cohen neither would be on the number they are now. If the midfield playmaker plays well, then so do Forest.

Doncaster Rovers Team News:

Graham Lee is definitely out with a knee injury and Lewis Guy is suspended.

Player to watch: James Hayter

The former Bournemouth striker was signed at the end of last season for a fee of £200,000. Since his arrival, he's only found the net twice. He will have to be watched though and is always a threat.

Match Facts & Stats

The two sides have a long history dating back to 1935. They've met 27 times in all competitions. Forest have won 17, drawn 5 and lost 5.

Ref Watch:

2-1 to the good guys.

If they play as they did against Hudds, we're in for a tough game. I still expect us to come out on top though. Should be a decent game.
